Manchester United is set to conclude their tour of North America with a clash against Borussia Dortmund in Las Vegas.
During their time in the States, United faced off against Arsenal, Wrexham, and Real Madrid, with their last two matches resulting in defeats.
However, Carlo Ancelotti’s side managed to secure a convincing 2-0 victory against Real Madrid in Houston midweek, providing them with an opportunity to bounce back in this weekend’s encounter against Dortmund.
While the primary focus of this summer’s fixtures has been on regaining player fitness, United’s manager Erik ten Hag has emphasized the importance of instilling a winning culture within the team. He expressed disappointment at the lack of cutting edge displayed by his side in the match against Madrid.
Unfortunately, there was a setback for United during that game, as young talent Kobbie Mainoo sustained an injury just minutes into the match.
As a result, the promising youngster has returned home for treatment and is expected to be sidelined for approximately two months.
