Chelsea’s new signing Nicholas Jackson made an instant impact in his first pre-season appearance, setting up Ian Maatsen for the opening goal in a 1-0 win over Wrexham.

The 19-year-old winger dribbled past several defenders before unselfishly laying the ball off for Maatsen, who made no mistake in firing home.
