Arsenal held their final training session in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday afternoon, ahead of their trip to New York. The Gunners thrashed the MLS All-Stars 5-0 on Monday night, and will now face Manchester United in a friendly at the MetLife Stadium on Saturday.

Mikel Arteta’s side were in high spirits after their impressive win over the MLS All-Stars, and they looked sharp in training on Tuesday. There was a focus on ball retention and passing drills, as the players looked to build on their momentum ahead of the Manchester United match.

Gabriel Jesus, who scored a hat-trick against the MLS All-Stars, was once again the star of the show in training. The Brazilian striker was lively and involved in everything, and he will be hoping to continue his good form against Manchester United.

Other players who impressed in training included Martin Ødegaard, Bukayo Saka, and Aaron Ramsdale. Ødegaard was a creative force in midfield, while Saka and Ramsdale were both solid at the back.

Arsenal will now head to New York, where they will continue their pre-season preparations. They will face Barcelona in a friendly at the Camp Nou on July 24, before returning to the UK for the Emirates Cup.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was pleased with his team’s performance in training on Tuesday, and he said that they are ready for the challenge of Manchester United.

“We had a good session today,” Arteta said. “The players are feeling good, and they’re ready for the next challenge. Manchester United are a great team, but we’re confident that we can get a good result against them.”

Arteta also said that he is happy with the progress that Arsenal have made in pre-season.

“We’ve made some good steps forward,” Arteta said. “We’re still working on a few things, but we’re in a good place. We’re looking forward to the next few weeks.”

Arsenal will be hoping to continue their good form against Manchester United on Saturday. A win would be a major boost for the Gunners, and it would give them a lot of confidence ahead of the start of the new season.
