Kai Havertz Stuns Arsenal Teammate Rob Holding with Touch Challenge

Kai Havertz inspired Arsenal to victory in the touch challenge ahead of their match against the MLS All-Stars, racking up a massive 86 points.

The versatile German left teammate Rob Holding stunned by his touch and volley technique at Audi Field.

Havertz, Marquinhos and Holding were Arsenal’s team of three, where they competed against the MLS trio of Thiago Almada, Hector Herrera and Hany Mukhtar.

The drill consisted of three people, two of which sprayed passes into the player in the middle, who had two touches to direct the ball into a zone. Players got 90 seconds to score as many points as they could, with zones consisting of 20, ten, five, and two-point values.

The last five balls were fired in from behind the goal, with scores doubling if the player got the ball into one of the targets.

Marquinhos and Havertz were elected by Arsenal to take centre stage, with the Brazilian winger scoring a respectable 53 points. Havertz then closed the show with a whopping 86 points, with Holding racing up to him following the challenge in disbelief by his technique.

Even Havertz looked impressed by his score, as he walked off with a huge grin on his face. However, he was left feeling rather embarrassed in the next event after he failed to score a single goal in the cross and volley drill.

Despite this minor blip, Havertz’s performance in the touch challenge was a reminder of his immense talent. He is a player who can create something out of nothing, and his ability to control the ball in tight spaces is world-class.

Arsenal fans will be hoping that he can continue his good form in the upcoming season. With Havertz in their team, they have a real chance of challenging for silverware.
